Yoga Teacher Training Course Tutors

Michele Spence-McGarry (E-RYT 500, YACEP) is the director & lead instructor on the course. She began practicing yoga after an injury in her late teens & developed a home yoga practice over many years before entering another class. She studied eastern religion & zen meditation since college, and after fifteen years of full-time art teaching in Ireland, she opened Soul Space in 2015, where she teaches Hatha yoga to adults & children, meditation courses and aerial yoga. She has studied in Ireland, Scotland, USA & India. She strives to improve people’s day with her upbeat classes, while planting the seeds of self-awareness & discovery.  Her goal is to help people understand themselves better, learn to calm the wild sea of the mind & explore what else there is…

Bobby Mladenova (RYT-500) lives in Sophia, Bulgaria, and started her yoga practice in 2012, after taking a Kundalini course in India. She immediately fell in love with everything to do with yoga & yoga philosophy, and is a fountain of knowledge regarding Hindu deities and storytelling. She has studied Kundalini, Ashtanga and Bhakti yoga, as well as Ayurveda. She currently teaches Hatha Yoga at The Yoga District in Sofia, and loves sharing her knowledge with students in a gentle and encouraging manner.

Amy Whitston (E-RYT-200) believes yoga to be a space for the body and mind to rest, revive and release- a freedom from the daily grind. Amy started practicing in 2012 and completed her 200 Hour Teacher Training in 2015. Since then she has taught in Dublin, Vancouver, Mexico and now teaches back in her home city of Cork. Amy has continued to explore both the philosophical and physical sides of yoga, completing courses in the Chakras, Reiki, Pranayama and astrology, which she uses as a basis to develop and sequence her classes. In both her Hatha and Vinyasa classes, Amy strives to connect each student with their breath so they can strengthen and deepen their practice. Her classes are strong and smooth explorations of breath and movement guided with kindness and compassion. She will complete her 500-Hour training in 2021.

Claire Campbell is a full-time physiotherapist working with the Civil Service in Dublin, but before that she was working in the Midlands with sports teams and attending classes at Soul Space. As an experienced yoga practitioner and physiotherapist, she brings valuable insight to the anatomy & biomechanics topic of the course, bringing it to life on the mat.
