Journey of the Soul… to coastal Galicia, Spain

Journey 1- July 26-30th (4 nights)   €585

  • Spend  5 days in a hidden, coastal town, with views of the sea and/or the historic Romanesque monastery in Oia

  • Two partial days of walking the Camino Portugués coastal route from A Guarda to Oia, then to Baiona (Take breaks in hidden coves or sandy beaches, do some shopping) FULLY GUIDED
  • Enjoy local scenery– including: Castro de Santa Trego- a Galician/Roman settlement with fort, ruins & petroglyphs over 3,000 years old; The monastery of Santa Maria de Oia- with examples of Romanesque, Gothic & Baroque architecture and details; Cape Silleiro lighthouse, the castle of Monte Real-National Parador and the Virxe da Rocha… 

Optional activities: Local Wine-tasting and vineyard tour, plein air painting or drawing with Michele, mountain hiking, water activities… 

Finish the trip with a visit to see the Cathedral de Santiago de Compostela– the final destination for pilgrims travelling from all directions and all corners of the world, and an amazing building complex and site to explore. Spend a while cheering pilgrims upon their arrival, and enjoy the sites and shopping nearby. There is a great buzz and sense of accomplishment and community 🙂

Aer Lingus / Dublin to Santiago (around €200 return) 12:55pm flight out and return flight arrives back to Dublin around 6pm– or stay longer if you like!

Journey 2- August 2-8th (6 nights) €835

  • Spend  4 nights in a hidden, coastal town, with views of the sea and/or the historic Romanesque monastery in Oia  (same as the 4-night trip)
  • Enjoy daily guided yoga

  • Sunset meditation 
  • Daily journaling prompts
  • Pranayama workshop
  • Individualised instruction  
  • Fresh, local food 
  • Two partial days of walking the Camino Portugués coastal route from A Guarda to Oia, then to Baiona (Take breaks in hidden coves or sandy beaches, do some shopping) FULLY GUIDED

Then spend 2 nights in a spacious private villa in an historic Northern Portugues village along the Camino path— beautiful gardens, pool & tennis courts, near the beach– with a private chef and a bit of real luxury to unplug.  Our yoga & meditation will continue, but you will have time to do whatever you’d like!

Do more hiking, biking or shopping, or simply lounge around the pool or beach for our final days.
