Breathwork
Breathwork or Pranayama, is an exploration of breath control, and a form of mindfulness meditation itself. With little or no physical movement, we use a variety of techniques to alter and control the breath for various outcomes (cooling, warming, calming, clearing…) and ultimately learn to focus and appreciate the power of each breath. Many yogis believe that breathing is way more important than the physical asana practice – and that lengthening the breath, is what will ultimately lengthen the life.
